ZHITAI Rolls Out Three New SSDs at COMPUTEX for APAC Market

At COMPUTEX Taipei 2026, ZHITAI, the consumer storage brand under Yangtze Memory Technologies (YMTC), unveiled three brand-new SSD models: TiPro9000 flagship PCIe 5.0 SSD, high-performance DRAM-less TiPlus9100 and mainstream PCIe 4.0 TiPlus7100s. Covering high-end, mid-range and entry-level segments, the whole product lineup powered by self-developed Xtacking 4.0 flash architecture marks ZHITAI’s official APAC market expansion starting from Taiwan region, with customized ASUS co-branded PCIe 5.0 SSD pending upcoming release.

Flagship TiPro9000 stands as ZHITAI’s full-spec PCIe 5.0 benchmark SSD. Equipped with discrete DRAM cache plus intelligent SLC caching algorithm and original Xtacking 4.0 3D NAND flash, it hits a peak sequential read speed of 14,900MB/s, tailored for hardcore gamers and professional 4K/8K video creators. Optimized thermal design eliminates thermal throttling issues widely seen on early-gen PCIe 5.0 drives, available in 1TB, 2TB and 4TB capacities.

As the first PCIe 5.0 member of TiPlus family, TiPlus9100 adopts cost-effective DRAM-less design and single-sided PCB layout with advanced thermal tuning. It delivers up to 12,000MB/s sequential read, 10,700MB/s sequential write and 1.85 million IOPS random performance. The optimized heat management solves overheating problems for ultrabooks and compact mini PCs, ideal for portable device storage upgrade.

TiPlus7100s targets the mature PCIe 4.0 replacement market. Its single-sided flash design brings low power consumption and mild heat output with a maximum sequential read of 7,400MB/s, perfectly fitting legacy PC upgrade, PlayStation5 storage expansion and daily office content creation scenarios. All three SSD generations feature YMTC’s proprietary Xtacking 4.0 architecture with 3600MB/s I/O bandwidth, nearly matching DDR memory speed to secure stable high-speed performance from hardware foundation.

For commercial deployment, ZHITAI has stocked new SSDs on Taiwan’s mainstream retailers including PChome, momo and Yuánjiàwū, starting from NT$7,949 (roughly CNY 1,700). Following Taiwan launch, the brand will sequentially enter South Korea and Singapore. According to Zengxu Fan, ZHITAI’s retail lead, booming demand for AI content creation and high-end gaming fuels robust APAC high-speed SSD consumption; the comprehensive product portfolio will accelerate global expansion of China’s domestic storage industry alongside the upcoming ASUS co-branded solid drive.
